Job Description

**Job Summary**

HomeCare Direct is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide personal assistance to a young woman with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support the individual in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interactions and activities that promote independence and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Maintain accurate records of the individual's needs and progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
