About the Role:
We are seeking a mature, confident, and caring individual to join our client's support package as a Support Care Worker. The successful candidate will provide personal care and support to our client, who lives with physical and learning disabilities, in her home and in the community when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks, mobility, and communication.
- Support our client in her home and in the community, including accompanying her on outings and activities.
- Assist our client with medication management and administration.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and epilepsy.
- Work collaboratively with our client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure a person-centred approach to care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care and support work, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities and epilepsy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- Commitment to confidentiality and respect for our client's dignity and autonomy.
