About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Millbank Holdings. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project management teams in implementing company and project health and safety requirements and objectives.
  • Support project delivery teams in planning and implementing health and safety management systems, strategies, and objectives.
  • Develop pre-construction health and safety documentation.
  • Provide health and safety support and advice to projects to ensure a structured risk-based approach.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections.
  • Facilitate health and safety training and awareness programs.
Requirements
  • Hold a current NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of providing an excellent health and safety service for an organization operating within one or more of the following industries: power generation, nuclear, petrochemical, or utilities.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, professional, and personal presentation skills when liaising with directors, senior managers, clients, external agencies, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Good personal planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent health and safety legal knowledge and practical application.
  • Competent in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Professional, personable, and results-focused.
  • High level of employee focus, business pragmatism, and understanding.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
  • In-depth knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  • Experience in developing and delivering health and safety training.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (power generation, pharma, process, nuclear, etc).
