We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team in London. This is a permanent contract working day shift, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented schedules and standards.
  2. Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisors.
  3. Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
  4. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  5. Maintain service vehicles and tools in a clean and operational condition.
  6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  7. Work with minimal supervision to diagnose and repair faults.
  8. Accurately complete service documentation and highlight potential upsell opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in diagnosing and repairing power generation equipment.
  2. Mechanical and electrical experience.
  3. 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferred.
  4. Electrical theory and troubleshooting knowledge.
  5. City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
  6. LV/HV switchgear experience preferred but not essential.
  7. PLC control systems experience preferred but not essential.
Additional Information
  1. Flexibility to work across the UK from time to time.
  2. 24/7 call-out rota (1 in 5 week coverage).
