Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in London. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance activities on power products in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power products in the field.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists / Supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision Installation.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose faults.
  • Accurate and timely completion of Service Documentation.
  • Highlight 'upsell' opportunities to the Customer and ensure that any 'rejected' opportunities are evident on the Service Worksheet before Customer signature.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing of Power equipment.
  • Mechanical / Electrical experience.
  • 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
  • Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting.
  • Minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • LV/HV Switchgear experience but not essential.
  • Experience in PLC control systems but not essential.

  • 24/7 Call Out Rota (1 in 5 Week Coverage)
