Senior Technical Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Administrator to join our team in Lancashire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting site due diligence in producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality food through managing all aspects of technical administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Technical Administrator team, ensuring accuracy of work and providing training and appraisals.
  • Generate and approve specifications for new products or processes, both internal and customer-facing.
  • Assist with the supplier approval process in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
  • Oversee and conduct internal audits, raising any non-conformances.
  • Manage the complaints system, including reporting, investigation, and trending.
  • Generate pack copies from specifications and nutritional results and artwork sign-off.
  • Support the HACCP plan and provide technical guidance on legal and customer requirements.

About You

  • Experience working in a technical role in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • HACCP Level 2 (ideally Level 3) certification.
  • Internal audit training and experience with specification writing and artwork process.
  • High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and delegate effectively.

Working Arrangements

The Senior Technical Administrator job is based in Lancashire and offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
