Job Summary:

Prospect Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist Manager to join their dynamic team in Southampton. As a key member of the pharmacy leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supervising the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflows, inventory control, and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of pharmacy professionals, fostering a positive and cooperative work atmosphere, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Supervise daily pharmacy activities, guaranteeing efficient workflows, inventory control, and adherence to regulations, ensuring the pharmacy operates in compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, offer guidance, and cultivate strong patient relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty among customers.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and sustain quality assurance procedures to ensure the precision and safety of pharmaceutical services, and maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure pharmacy operations align with all applicable laws, standards, and ethical guidelines, and maintain a high level of compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Registration and Eligibility: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory position within a pharmacy environment, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Sound understanding of pharmacy operations, regulations, and industry best practices, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills with an emphasis on team development and motivation, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £26 per hour.
  • Flexible Working Hours: Working hours: Monday-Friday (9am-6pm), with preferred Saturday morning work (9am-1pm).
  • Annual Leave: 5 weeks of annual leave including bank holidays.
