About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital in Southampton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective provision of pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the provision of pharmacy services for all patients, ensuring that prescribing and administering of medication adheres to best evidence and practice.
  • Provide coordinated medicine information to patients as part of the discharge planning process, as well as post-discharge care.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements for the supply and storage of medications and controlled drugs.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience of working in a hospital environment, with knowledge of medication management and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
