Building Fabric Technician - Facilities Management - Pharmaceutical Sector

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prominent facilities management organization. We are currently seeking a Building Fabric Technician to work in a static position within a pharmaceutical environment, focusing on both planned and reactive maintenance without the requirement for callouts.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in commercial property maintenance and will be responsible for executing various fabric maintenance tasks within a large team. This role involves collaboration with a dedicated team of engineers, ensuring the upkeep of all landlord services in a significant facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Basic carpentry tasks
  • Painting and plasterboard repairs
  • Lock replacements
  • Door hinge adjustments
  • Flooring repairs
  • Minor office furniture repairs
  • Assembly of small equipment and flat-pack items
  • Installation and repair of kick plates
  • Blinds installation and maintenance
  • Basic plumbing duties
  • Logbook maintenance and updates
  • Support the on-site maintenance team
  • Supervise subcontractors
Working Hours

Monday to Friday
09:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Compensation Package

Candidate Requirements
  • City & Guilds/NVQ certification
  • Fire Door Inspection certification (desirable)
