Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Shift Technician to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Electrical Maintenance Shift Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing assets, building fabric, services, and utilities across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including building fabric, services, and utilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including periodic inspection and testing
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and visitors

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician with experience in a mechanical engineering discipline
  • Level 3 NVQ diploma in Mechanical services or equivalent
  • 18th Edition (IET) Wiring Regulations
  • Experience of building and facilities maintenance
  • HV/LV trained working towards AP status
  • High level specialism in Mechanical systems
  • Experience of BMS systems
  • Portable Appliance Testing (EAL or City and Guilds)
  • Electrical Safety & Part P
  • Full, clean driving licence
