Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Research Nurse to join our dedicated team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of clinical trials, ensuring that participants receive high-quality care throughout their involvement in research studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients participating in early phase clinical trials.
- Manage a portfolio of clinical trials, ensuring participant safety and well-being.
- Coordinate clinical trial visits in collaboration with Principal Investigators and research sponsors.
- Adhere to research regulatory standards and governance frameworks.
- Collect and document accurate data related to trial participants.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Registered Nurse status.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Specialized knowledge in research or relevant clinical experience.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Skills Required
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage their workload effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including participation in an on-call rota.
