We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Investigator to join our dynamic and collaborative division at Keoghs. As a key member of our counter-fraud team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing new and emerging risks in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Run a caseload of litigated RTA suspected fraud files on behalf of a cross-section of insurance clients, working closely with sophisticated claims handlers.
- Conduct detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout the life of the case, identifying strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases when appropriate.
- Report to insurer clients throughout the lifetime of the claim, achieving the best result in litigation and protecting the client's position in relation to proceedings.
- Ensure adherence to file management policies, financial excellence, and commercial awareness to retain profitability.
- Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified (ILEX, LPC, etc.).
- An understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes together with indemnity principles.
- Knowledge of the litigation process and working knowledge of the CPR.
- Experience of time recording and billing systems.
