We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Renal Support Worker to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the commencement, continuation, and termination of dialysis for patients under the supervision of a registered member of staff.
  • Work in our renal outpatient department, assisting in clinics and providing support to patients and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Acute experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of dialysis procedures and patient care.
  • NVQ level 2 in Healthcare, with a willingness to undertake training at level 3.
  • Previous experience in a health or social care setting, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Desirable criteria include previous dialysis experience and venapuncture skills.
