Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team Leader

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team Leader.

In this role, you will be tasked with implementing the council's strategy for recruiting foster carers. You will oversee the execution of a comprehensive annual recruitment plan aimed at attracting foster carers.

Your responsibilities will include leading the development of Connected Persons assessments and, when necessary, providing consultancy support to other teams.

We are eager to connect with candidates who possess strong leadership abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.

A genuine passion for engaging with prospective Foster Carers, Connected Persons, and Special Guardians is essential. You should have a solid background in conducting quality assessments and a thorough understanding of relevant statutory legislation and guidance.

Creativity and an understanding of the fostering market dynamics are key attributes for this role. Your practice should be evidence-based, utilizing data to inform developments and ensure quality assurance.
