Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Mecca Bingo Crewe. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers have a great experience. You will be the face of Mecca Bingo and will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers have a great experience.
  • Manage the front of house area, including the reception, bar, and gaming areas.
  • Ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and control the gaming area, including the bingo games and other activities.
  • Manage the cash handling and banking procedures, including the handling of cash, credit card transactions, and other financial transactions.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and control the inventory and supplies, including the ordering and stocking of supplies.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, including the maintenance of a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage cash and other financial transactions.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
