**Job Summary**

PM Group is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at a biopharmaceutical site in the UK. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the site's operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Support Day-to-Day Operations**: Collaborate with production teams to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks.
  • **Provide Independent Safety and Environmental Advice**: Offer expert guidance to site personnel on EHS best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • **Promote EHS Excellence**: Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the site, ensuring all employees understand their role in maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • **Develop and Monitor EHS Metrics**: Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the site's EHS performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • **Ensure Compliance with UK Legislation**: Ensure all site systems and procedures are aligned with relevant UK regulations and standards.

**Requirements:**

  • **Machine Safety Knowledge**: Proven understanding of machine safety principles and practices.
  • **COSHH and REACH Knowledge**: Familiarity with Chemicals and Hazardous Substances (COSHH) and Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulations.
  • **Relevant Qualification and Experience**: Possess a relevant qualification (e.g., NEBOSH diploma or degree) and significant experience in EHS management.
  • **Industry Experience**: Proven experience working in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry or a similar sector.
  • **Professional Membership**: Membership in a recognized professional institute.
  • **Technical and Operational Knowledge**: Strong understanding of technical and operational processes.
  • **Ability to Respond to Changing Priorities**: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Working Arrangements:**

This is an onsite role with a contract agreement. The position is classified as inside IR35.
