Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our power transactions team. As Head of Power Transactions, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies to drive growth and profitability in the UK power market.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the value chain, including producers, customers, and trading counterparties.
  • Originate, negotiate, and close diverse types of power transactions, including fixed price and day-ahead PPAs.
  • Identify and champion strategic commercial initiatives and opportunities in the fast-changing power market.
  • Provide market input to the product management team to ensure Uniper's product offerings remain competitive.
  • Maximise value associated with existing contracts and develop downstream power transaction opportunities.
Your Profile
  • Strong network of relationships across the value chain.
  • Established track-record of originating, negotiating, and closing diverse types of power transactions.
  • Sound understanding of the UK power market and regulatory developments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a 'can do' attitude to develop the business.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and collaborative way of working.
