Our Global Origination team is seeking a highly skilled professional to drive business growth and development in the UK power market.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand pipelines of potential power transactions by developing relationships with counterparties and understanding commercial requirements.
  • Originate PPA transactions with asset owners, leveraging your knowledge of commercial requirements and pricing structures.
  • Develop downstream power transaction opportunities with customers/counterparties to optimize Uniper's physical and contractual asset portfolio.
  • Provide leadership for commercial initiatives and take accountability for negotiating, structuring, and executing structured power transactions.
  • Spearhead strategic commercial initiatives/opportunities in a fast-changing power market and champion them within the company.
  • Maximise value associated with existing contracts and provide market input to the product management team.

Your Profile:

  • A strong network of relationships across the value chain, including producers, customers, and trading counterparties.
  • An established track-record of originating, negotiating, and closing diverse types of power transactions.
  • A sound understanding of the UK power market and regulatory developments.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a 'can do' attitude to develop the business.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative way of working.
  • An understanding of risk concepts, including credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks.
  • An understanding of various power transaction contracts.
