Job Title: Head Maintenance

Your role will be to oversee the day-to-day management of a team of trade operatives within a Social Housing setting, ensuring that repairs are undertaken safely and within specified timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the efficient use of the team and ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
  2. Hold performance meetings with team members, provide training and development opportunities, and offer technical advice and support.
  3. Undertake quality assessments, provide instructions to rectify defects, and liaise with tenants regarding service provision.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  1. Strong technical knowledge and a trades background.
  2. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  3. Ability to implement company policies and processes.
  4. Good Excel/Outlook and General IT skills.
  5. Good commercial awareness and understanding of cost impact.
  6. Clean, Manual, UK Driving License (essential).
  7. SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification.
