Nursery Manager Opportunity at St Francis' College

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at St Francis' College. As a key member of our Early Years department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to promote the spiritual, moral, intellectual, creative, and physical development of our pupils.
  • Collaborate with the Pre-School team to ensure a seamless transition for our pupils.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS 0-5 years and Ofsted statutory guidance.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and secure learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 5 Childcare qualification (NVQ5, EYTS, QTS, B.ed or above).
  • Vast experience within a childcare setting, preferably in a management role.
  • Excellent knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, mentoring and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
