Barista

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and serving delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a family run coffee shop set in a garden centre, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more
- Take customer orders and serve them
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcome and satisfied
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and other related tools
- Assist with food preparation
- Stock replenishment, managing and maintaining stock
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register drawer

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
