Nursery Manager Opportunity at St Francis' College

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at St Francis' College. As a key member of our Early Years department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
  • Develop and implement effective learning plans to meet the needs of our pupils.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive educational experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our early years provision, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of child safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 5 Childcare qualification (NVQ5, EYTS, QTS, B.ed or above).
  • Proven experience in a nursery management role, with a strong track record of leadership and staff development.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidance.
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of childcare and education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work productively with pupils, colleagues, parents, and outside agencies.
