Engineering Teacher Opportunity in Havant

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Engineering Teacher to join our team in Havant. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Engineering lessons to KS5 students, promoting critical thinking, and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging Engineering lessons, tailored to meet the needs of learners at different skill levels.
  • Encourage students to develop problem-solving, analytical, and hands-on skills through project-based learning and real-world applications of engineering concepts.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing detailed, constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic and vocational goals.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment that motivates students to participate actively and build their confidence in the subject.
  • Support and organise extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, workshops, and field trips to broaden students' exposure to engineering careers and real-world technologies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing, or any STEM-related discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching Engineering at the KS5 level or relevant teaching experience in similar subjects such as Design and Technology, Physics, or Applied Sciences.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging to students.
