Key Responsibilities:
As a Machining Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional training to young learners, apprentices, and corporate clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Instructing and guiding individuals in practical manual machining and hand fitting techniques
- Creating and organizing relevant lesson plans and schemes of work
- Conducting assessments of competence in accordance with awarding body standards
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all training and assessment documentation
- Providing support and advice to corporate clients
- Reporting any accidents immediately

To excel as a Machining Training Specialist, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- Experience in delivering level 3 manual machining training
- Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle - highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
- NVQ/QCF Assessor qualification
- Teaching qualification
- Experience in an educational setting
- Solid understanding of apprenticeship frameworks
Please note: As you will be engaging with learners aged 16 and above, effective communication with a diverse age range is essential. A DBS Registration and Disclosure will be required.
