Job Title: Marketplace Manager

Location: Remote based with occasional travel to the office

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 base salary + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Strategist to join our team at AGS Cyber. As a key member of our e-commerce team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth across our current marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Wayfair, and Etsy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Strategic Plans: Create and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth in all marketplaces, including seasonality plans and product selection strategies.
  • Product and Marketplace Opportunity Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of product and marketplace opportunities, using data-driven approaches to inform decision-making.
  • Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the growth of our marketplace business.
  • Keyword Research and Listing Optimization: Lead the development of keyword research and listing optimization strategies to enhance content and drive traffic.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage business analytics to maximize sales and profit performance, and drive forecasting and inventory planning with the operations team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate key information to the leadership team, including core metrics and strategic business updates, and lead collaboration with internal product teams and platform managers to maximize results.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve marketplace issues and root causes, making recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Experience: Significant commercial experience in a multi-marketplace business, with a successful track record of growing market share and revenue on marketplaces.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Algorithms: Deep knowledge of Amazon algorithms and experience with P&L management, including setting pricing and profitability strategies.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Tech Savvy: Tech-savvy with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals.
