Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Monifieth Farm Brewers Fayre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Culinary Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for food and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
