Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at Heidelberg Materials AG. As an Asphalt Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our asphalt plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality asphalt products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all health and safety instructions are followed on site.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on site.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checks as assigned and sign off on them.
  • Encourage staff to report near misses and forward them as required.
  • Inform the Foreman/Production Supervisor of any developing problems with staff or machinery.
  • Assist the Foreman/Production Supervisor in managing contractors and visitors.
  • Work with the Foreman/Production Supervisor to ensure all staff follow environmental management system requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman/Production Supervisor to ensure all staff follow quality management system requirements and provide high-quality service standards.

Requirements:

  • Hold a QCF in Plant Operations or be willing to work towards it.
  • No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
