Transport Operations Supervisor - Telecommunications
£25,000 - £30,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits.

Role Overview:
The Transport Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing all vehicle and equipment activities within the organization.

Working from the company headquarters, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of high-speed fiber internet services to rural areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all transport and vehicle usage regulations.
  • Oversee the allocation of cars and vans.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive vehicle maintenance schedule, ensuring timely inspections and repairs.
  • Conduct compliance audits, both random and scheduled, in line with company policies and objectives.
  • Manage the vehicle maintenance workshop and its operations.
  • Ensure that all drivers perform their duties safely and responsibly.
  • Create and maintain a detailed database of road traffic incidents.
  • Foster a culture of adaptability and openness to change.
  • Source vehicles and manage service accounts effectively.
  • Continuously enhance processes and procedures to improve fleet efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver licenses and training.
  • Provide guidance and education to drivers and supervisors regarding their legal obligations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with vehicle maintenance and driver defect reporting.
  • Experience in managing a small to medium-sized fleet is essential.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to meet established standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Possession of a full clean driving license for a minimum of two years.
