We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy S151 Officer to join our team at The Oyster Partnership
About the Role
As a Deputy S151 Officer, you will be responsible for providing operational direction and supporting the Director with the strategic development plans
You will ensure the financial integrity of the Council and the maintenance of the highest standards of financial control, while actively contributing to strategic, corporate, and service policy and decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational direction and support the Director with strategic development plans
- Ensure financial integrity and maintain highest standards of financial control
- Contribute to strategic, corporate, and service policy and decision-making
- Work closely with the Director to achieve financial objectives
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
- Manage and maintain financial systems and processes
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide regular financial reports and analysis
