Lead Operational Risk Mitigation Across Kraft Heinz Manufacturing and Logistics in the Pacific Region

As an EHS Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of safety and operational excellence across Kraft Heinz's manufacturing and logistics facilities in the Pacific Developed Markets. Your expertise in occupational health and safety, workers' compensation, business continuity, environmental sustainability, and facility security will be instrumental in minimizing risks and fostering a secure and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the implementation of Kraft Heinz's Safety Excellence program (KHMS) across all sites, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with site leadership teams to develop and execute integrated operational risk management programs, fostering a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
  • Inspire and empower Health and Safety teams, cultivating a high-performing culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor performance trends, identify areas for enhancement, and drive informed decision-making regarding risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on operational risk management initiatives, emerging trends, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of evolving legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring that Kraft Heinz operations remain compliant and informed.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage operational risks effectively.
  • Collaborate with country managers to develop action plans that involve the workforce in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on all operational risk matters, leveraging external resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess progress against action plans and report findings to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of workers' compensation, environmental law, and occupational health and safety regulations across the Pacific Developed Markets.
  • Relevant qualifications in business, workplace health and safety, environment and sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, financial resources, and complex projects within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong change management, auditing, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
