About the Role

Staff Partners Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team in a private hospital setting in Birmingham. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health support and therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop effective treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address emotional, behavioural, and psychological issues, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients, promoting a multidisciplinary approach to mental health treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration is mandatory for this role.
  • Experience working with adults, including those with complex mental health needs, is essential.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in patient care and counselling, with a focus on empathy and understanding, are required.
