About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician to join our team at Outcomes First Group. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the adults we support. This is a wide and varied role that requires a high level of expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality services.

The post is located within our Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, and the successful candidate will be joining a new clinical team to facilitate Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) working. The clinical team is embedded into the structure of the provision, enabling positive and effective multi-disciplinary working across the education services, to maximize clinical outcomes for the adults.

The successful candidate will be working within the overall framework of our service policies and procedures and within existing MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support the services in future development and ensuring quality assurance.

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician who shares our vision of building incredible futures for the adults we support. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing empowering environments where our adults can flourish, and will be expected to work collaboratively with a range of key partners to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the adults we support
  • Work collaboratively with a range of key partners to achieve clinical outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective MDT working practices
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with service policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance structures
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS
  • Experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists
  • Previous experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children
  • Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work
