Estate Management Specialist

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Estates Department, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient operation and maintenance of our estates services, systems, and budgetary resources.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain our estates services, including medical gas pipe systems, pressure systems, water systems, ventilation systems, high and low voltage electrical systems, and management of asbestos.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and mandatory NHS healthcare standards and guidelines.
- Manage our FM First PPM and reactive maintenance system to ensure delivery of statutory compliance and effective repairs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our estates services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Highly developed specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices.
- Relevant academic qualifications and experience in a healthcare or industrial/commercial building services environment.
- Postgraduate qualification in a supplementary discipline (e.g. mechanical or electrical or building).
- Incorporated Engineer member of a registered Engineering or Building Institute.
- Full UK driving licence.
