CBW Staffing Solutions is on the lookout for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join a renowned venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of mechanical systems while ensuring the upkeep of electrical services. This role is tailored for a Mechanical Engineer with a solid background in a similar environment. In return, a competitive compensation package is on offer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Emergency Lighting checks
  • Performing Fault Diagnosis and Wiring tasks
  • Managing Power Distribution systems
  • Overseeing Sockets and Circuits
  • Maintaining UPS systems
  • Executing Switching operations - HV/LV
  • Monitoring Air Handling Units
  • Inspecting Fan Coil Units
  • Maintaining Pumps, Motors, Belts, and Fans
  • Conducting Boiler inspections
  • Performing Generator tests
Working Schedule:
  • 4 on, 4 off (2 early shifts, 2 late shifts)
  • 07:00-17:30 (early), 16:00-02:00 (late)
  • Transport home provided for late shifts (within specified area)

Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in commercial building services

  • Electrically qualified
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent certification
  • Testing & Inspection qualifications
  • Apprentice trained - Preferred but not mandatory

  • Ability to work the advertised hours

  • Experience in both landlord and tenant areas of commercial premises is advantageous.
