Quality Assurance Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Officer. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be part of a new expanding team of highly professional and dedicated staff who are committed to providing an excellent, patient-focused service. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about quality assurance and has a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical quality assurance services to the aseptic unit, supporting the operational needs of the department, and undertaking further education and training to advance the role of quality assurance within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide pharmaceutical quality assurance services to the aseptic unit in accordance with current licensing regulations and GMP, GDP, and GCP requirements.
  2. Support the operational needs of the department, including acting in the supervisor's absence in certain QA matters.
  3. Support the Quality Assurance Lead and Higher-Level Pharmacy Technician by acting in their absence in certain QA matters.
  4. Undertake further education and training to advance the role of quality assurance within the department.
  5. Support the work of the pharmacy aseptic unit in the provision of an extended hours service.
