Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Assistant to join our team at Clarkson PLC in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of the Procurement Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the team and maintaining relationships with our supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and transfer calls with a professional manner and take accurate messages to ensure timely communication.
  • Provide support to the Category Managers with daily tasks and projects.
  • Raise purchase orders on a daily basis, including credit card purchases, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collate and process credit card invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform filing and scanning of documents to maintain a organized and secure record.
  • Assist with expediting outstanding purchase orders to meet business needs.
  • Order internal use items, such as stationery and supplies.
  • Participate in internal product training courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous office administration or work experience.

  • High focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative.
  • Team player with a flexible approach.
  • Good MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
