Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team at St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide and develop a high-quality dietetic service to Oncology and Haematology patients, working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Meet the dietary needs of patients with Lung, Lymphoma, and Haematology conditions across Oncology/Haematology wards.
  • Attend Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Line manage a team of Band 4 posts, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Support patients with Head and Neck conditions, working closely with the MDT to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of dietetics within the NHS, with a focus on Oncology and Haematology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Membership of the British Dietetic Association or other relevant professional body.
  • Postgraduate experience of working in acute and/or community dietetic services at graduate/Band 5 level.
  • Experience of clinical audit/research, clinical supervision of students, and multidisciplinary team working.
