Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotational Dietitian to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide and develop a high-quality dietetic service to Oncology and Haematology patients, while also participating in multidisciplinary team training and development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oncology:
    • Meet the nutritional needs of patients with Lung, Lymphoma, and Haematology conditions across Oncology and Haematology wards.
    • Line manage a team of Band 4 posts.
  • Head and Neck:
    • Support patients with Head and Neck conditions across various clinics.
    • Line manage a team of Band 4 posts.
Person Specification
  • Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of dietetics within the NHS.
    • Knowledge of dietetics within Head and Neck, Oncology, and Haematology.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds.
    • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
    • Excellent IT skills.
    • Motivation and behavioral change skills.
Requirements
  • BSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • HCPC current registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Membership of the British Dietetic Association or other professional body conferring indemnity insurance.
