Job Title: Band 6/7 Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Dietitian to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dietetic services to patients with head and neck cancer, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

About the Role:
  • Provide specialist dietetic services to patients with head and neck cancer, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, surgeons, and nurses, to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve dietetic services and patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior dietitians and students to ensure high-quality training and development.
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve dietetic services and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • State Registered Dietitian with HCPC and BDA membership.
  • Experience of working in oncology and head and neck cancer services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Experience of supervising and mentoring junior staff.
