Job Title: Community Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Dietitian to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Nutrition and Dietetic Service to the Oncology services, including inpatients, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy outpatient services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized treatment packages and plan appropriate monitoring for patients with Upper GI and Lower GI cancers.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex nutritional needs.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based recommendations for patients with cancer-related malnutrition.
  • Develop and deliver education programs for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on oncology nutrition and dietetics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of oncology policies and procedures.
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve the quality of care and services provided.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • State Registered Dietitian with HCPC registration.
  • BDA member and specialist Oncology group member.
  • Postgraduate diploma in advanced dietetic practice or equivalent.
Working Pattern:

Full-time, permanent contract.
