Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced oncology dietitian to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our dedicated AHP thoracic oncology team in the outpatient service, delivering on service improvement projects and collaborating with dietitians across the South East London Cancer Alliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the dietetic team to provide high-quality nutrition support to patients with cancer.
  • Develop and implement service improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the AHP thoracic oncology team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Work with the dietetic assistant to provide clinical support to thoracic oncology patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Substantial clinical experience in oncology nutrition.
  • Previous work in an oncology setting is essential.
  • Clear understanding of the Trust Values and ability to apply them in practice.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
