Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Autism Psychologist to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering specialized assessment and treatment to individuals with a diagnosis of intellectual disability and/or autism, along with co-morbid mental health, neurodevelopmental, and offending/challenging behavior needs requiring hospital treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality assessment and treatment services to individuals with intellectual disability and/or autism
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for individuals with complex needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including families, carers, and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to autism and intellectual disability services
- HCPC registration in Psychology or due to qualify in the next 6 months
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability and/or autism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
