We are seeking a highly motivated and reflective Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join our Individual Funding Team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals with complex mental health difficulties receive the best support to recover and increase their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes.
- Develop and disseminate best practice in psychology across the service by continuing to develop the skills of a reflexive and reflective scientist practitioner.
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping, including electronic data entry and recording, report writing, and responsible exercise of professional self-governance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies, and issues in relation to both the specific client group and mental health.
The Individual Funding Team is responsible for managing mental health funding for external packages of care, including locked rehabilitation placements, residential care, supported living, and therapies or treatments that cannot be provided by Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. We support a diverse population, including individuals living with psychosis and bipolar conditions, drug misuse, personality disorders, forensic histories, developmental disorders, dementia, and neurological difficulties.
