Principal Product Manager - Pricing and Availability

Our organization is a leader in technological advancements within the travel sector. We are in search of an innovative and strategic Platform/API Product Manager to enhance our API team. In this influential position, you will be instrumental in defining the trajectory of our platform and unlocking potential within the broader ecosystem.

This role presents an opportunity to develop new functionalities and refine existing offerings, propelling the business towards defined revenue and growth objectives while maintaining scalability and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee significant projects related to pricing and availability in inventory management.
  • Develop new functionalities or enhance current products to advance the business in alignment with established revenue and growth targets, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
  • Construct investment proposals for your product in partnership with product leadership.
  • Establish success metrics, KPIs, and monitor ongoing product performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Define the delivery strategy and roadmap for your product, prioritizing tasks and activities to effectively achieve business objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration with engineering, marketing, legal, and other departments on innovative technologies.
  • Devise creative solutions to intricate challenges by collaborating across various regions, product domains, and functions.
  • Collaborate with experience teams to enhance our ecosystem through a suite of robust APIs.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Platform or API Product Manager (6+ years overall in product management) in technology-centric roles.
  • Proven history of developing large-scale API systems and frameworks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of API technologies and governance.
  • Proficient in technical discussions and achieving consensus.
  • Experience in deconstructing complex platform solutions.
  • Capability to assess the impact of platform initiatives.
