Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Medicine Consultant to join our forward-thinking team at Swansea Bay University Health Board.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the sleep service for the Health board, working closely with physiologists and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the care of inpatients on the Respiratory ward and the respiratory retrieval rota in Morriston Hospital.
  • Work closely with our experienced Thoracic Radiologists and on-site Thoracic Surgeons.
Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice.
  • On Specialist Register with GMC (including via CESR/European Community Rights) as a specialist in Respiratory Medicine or eligible for CCTCESR/CP within 6 months of date of interview.
  • Valid Certified Basic Life Support Skills (or equivalent international qualification).
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant Higher Degree (e.g. MD; PhD; MSc).
  • Ability to speak Welsh or willingness to learn.
