We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Floating Support Worker to join our team at Single Homeless Project. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals in London to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Support a caseload of up to 25 clients within a recovery framework, focusing on preventing tenancy breakdown and promoting independence.
- Work closely with partner agencies to maximize opportunities for clients to lead fulfilling lives.
- Develop and deliver personalized action plans through high-quality risk management and needs assessment.
- Provide guidance on budgeting, benefit entitlements, and housing options to support clients in achieving stability.
- Collaborate with clients to address substance use, mental health, and other challenges that may impact their well-being.
- Experience in supporting clients with complex needs, including substance use, mental health, and homelessness.
- Knowledge of safeguarding issues and ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
- Ability to work within a strengths and recovery-based model, engaging and motivating clients to achieve independence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and partner agencies.
- Proficiency in using a computer to input data accurately and produce high-quality reports and documents.
- A competitive salary, with a salary increase after successfully completing six months' probationary period.
- A 37.5 hour working week, including flexible working hours and core hours of 10am-4pm.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days, plus paid Bank Holidays.
- A contributory pension scheme, with Single Homeless Project contributing the equivalent of 5% of your annual salary.

- Comprehensive and integrated training programme to develop your skills and knowledge.
