**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and evolve imprint-level design strategies to strengthen our brand identity and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to simplify creative workflows and drive innovative design solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Present cover designs and creative concepts to stakeholders for sign-off and approval.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on trends in book design to boost team knowledge and drive inclusive design that meets business needs.
  • Work with production teams to adhere to cover and interior design schedules and deadlines.
  • Commission and manage the creation and delivery of cover and interior artwork that meets business standards.

**Requirements**

  • Proven record of creating and managing world-class book covers and interiors that meet business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of marketplaces and ability to partner with external designers and illustrators to drive business growth.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders to drive business results.
  • Experience in design, art direction, and project management that meets business needs.
  • Available online portfolio that showcases business-relevant work.
