Art Director

Scopely is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead the creative vision for our Monopoly GO team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all creative material is consistently aligned with the game vision and is of exceptional high quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Art Director to develop and implement a cohesive art direction for the game.
  • Lead creative brainstorms to identify innovative solutions and direction for the art team.
  • Establish and drive an art culture that engages talent, maximizes team potential, and encourages proactive cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Manage the art team's performance, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure exceptional results.
  • Partner with art producers to drive the art team's production process and ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the creative process and implement changes to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in an Art Lead or Associate AD role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality art assets.
  • Experience in developing social games on mobile platforms, with a preference for casual games.
  • Strong understanding of whimsical art style and ability to apply expert-level art judgment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration across multiple art disciplines.
  • Familiarity with game pipelines and their restrictions.
