About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to join our Monopoly GO team in Europe, responsible for leading the creative vision and direction of our game's art.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Art Director to ensure consistent creative quality and alignment with the game vision.
  • Develop and implement creative designs and unique experiences to support the brand.
  • Lead creative brainstorms to identify innovative solutions and directions.
  • Establish and drive an art culture that engages talent, maximizes team potential, and encourages proactive cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Manage art team performance, reviews, and goal management.
  • Contribute to studio-level planning for the product team.
  • Partner with art producers to drive art team production processes.
  • Ensure art team health, including team morale, training, and resourcing needs.
  • Identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement within the creative process.
  • Lead inter-department communications and support external art requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing a large group of artists.
  • Shipped and supported at least one title as an Art Lead or Associate AD.
  • Experience in developing social games on mobile platforms, with a preference for casual space.
  • Art style that demonstrates a good understanding of whimsical art style.
  • Highly skilled at providing clear direction, guidance, and mentoring.
  • An eye for detail and expert-level art judgment.
  • Proven flexibility, motivation, and approachability.
  • Deep understanding of how game art/visual design supports gameplay, UX, narrative, and brand positioning/marketing.
  • Familiarity with game pipelines and their restrictions.
  • Able to communicate and propagate artistic vision throughout the studio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with an IP.
  • Knowledge in working with Unity.
