Workshop Team Leader

Are you an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Senior Depot Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have the engineering and commercial know-how to effectively represent a global leading brand?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Team Leader to join our team at Ganymede Solutions Ltd. As a Workshop Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of depot engineers who will be carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines, downloading data, and ensuring familiarity with ECU (Electric Control Unit).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of depot engineers to ensure efficient and effective fault diagnostics and maintenance of rolling stock and diesel engines
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ3 qualification in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of rolling stock and diesel engines
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £45,500 per annum + £6,825 London Allowance
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 25 Days holiday + BH
